HIAWATHA, Iowa — The HACAP Food Reservoir is kicking off its annual Community Food Drive on June 1, running through August 31, 2025.
This initiative aims to ease the burden on food-insecure families during the summer months when children are out of school.
Food donations will be collected across Benton, Jones, and Linn counties. You can also drop off donations at the HACAP Food Reservoir at 1515 Hawkeye Drive in Hiawatha.
All contributions will go directly to partner agencies within HACAP’s seven-county service area, with rural donations supporting local pantry locations.
This year’s drive includes expanded collection efforts in rural communities and calls on local businesses, organizations, and individuals to take part in the fight against hunger.
