4-H offering summer camps to keep kids engaged and learning

The school year is ending, and kids will be looking to fill their summers with fun. 4-H is offering summer camps to do just that.

Teens in the area will have an opportunity to have a blast and participate in hands-on outdoor environmental education at the same time at the University of Nevada, Reno Extension’s 4-H Camp Tahoe, which is located at Stateline.

The 4-H Teen Leadership Camp Tahoe takes place from June 11-14 and is open to area teens aged 13-18.

Registration for the camp costs $215 per camper, and includes meals, snacks, lodging, educational materials and a camp t-shirt.
