CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) – Heartland gamers are gathering at the A.C. Brase Arena Building in Cape Girardeau for the 2nd Annual Heartland Gaming Con.
The event started Saturday, May 31 and will wrap up tomorrow.
Events are taking place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
The family-friendly event features activities including vendors, tournaments and a free-to-play library.
There is also a game consignment shop, where players can bring used games to sell. Organizers ask that items brought to sell be clean and in good condition.
Andrew Britton attended the event, “I you like, video games and collecting cards of different, you know, Pokemon, whether it’s Yu-Gi-Oh! or Magic or whatever. It’s good to see what they got and what our local community can bring to the table.”
