Provided by the Bristol Township School District:

For the second consecutive summer, the Bristol Township School District’s Food Service Department is offering free, nutritious meals to students through its Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).
Starting on Monday, June 23, the Food Service Department will serve breakfast and lunch daily in Truman High School’s cafeteria.
Meals are free of charge to any child 18 years of age or younger. No application or registration is required. Additionally, children do not need to be enrolled in a Bristol Township school, however, children need to be present to receive the free meals.
“We’re happy to once again provide free breakfast and lunch this summer. It’s crucial for supporting families with food insecurity and ensuring their children get healthy food,” said Brandon Lang, director of food services.
All breakfasts include a milk, fruit or vegetable, and grain/bread, while all lunches include a milk, two fruits and/or vegetables, grain/bread, and a meat or protein alternative. Menus will be posted in advance on the SFSP webpage.
The SFSP will operate Monday through Friday through August 21, except July 4. Breakfast will be served from 8 to 8:45 a.m. and lunch from 10 to 11:45 a.m. There is a limit of one breakfast and one lunch per child, per day. Meals should be consumed on site.
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) funds the summer meals program, which is run by school districts and local organizations. Sites can be found throughout the community. Families can text “FOOD” or “COMIDA” to 304-304 and type in a zip code to find nearby summer meals sites, along with operating days and times, or use the USDA’s site finder webpage. No application, registration or proof of residency or citizenship is required.
