Woman killed in south Tulsa motorcycle crash honored with memorial bike and car show

TULSA, Okla. — Family and friends held a memorial bike and car show for a woman who was killed in a motorcycle accident in south Tulsa earlier this month.

FOX23 told you earlier this week 18-year-old motorcyclist Sidney Fuller was hit by a distracted driver who made a sudden U-turn from the right lane on a hill, said the family.

Tulsa Police said on May 13, Fuller was on her motorcycle when a driver made a U-turn near 61st and Memorial. Fuller crashed into that car.

She was taken to the hospital in critical condition and passed away on May 21.

Three of Fuller’s friends, Kaiden Crawford, Austin Torrie and Jacob Hilton, put together Friday’s event in honor of her.

They said it was amazing to see the parking lot filled with people showing up to support Sidney and support those who are dealing with loss.

Her friends passed out yellow bandanas to people in attendance.

“In the biker community, when somebody goes down and unfortunately passes, we use that bandana to symbolize them and pick a color, for Sidney it’s yellow,” Torrie said.

They said if you pass by a biker and they have different colored bandanas, those bandanas symbolize somebody that has passed riding.

Sidney’s mother says they are not asking for money, but if you want to donate in Sidney’s name, donations can be made to The Ministry Center where she served, or you can register as an organ donor.
