LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Bigfoot celebrations, a timeless car show and the city’s biggest music festival are all in town for what will be a busy weekend in the Bluegrass!
RAILBIRD RETURNS TO LEXINGTON
Railbird, the annual two-day country music festival, is back at the infield at Red Mile.
With over 30 artists heading to the Bluegrass, other performances this year include Riley Green, Bailey Zimmerman, Shaboozey and Jelly Roll.
But if you need a break from the music, you can sneak away to the festival’s bourbon adventure, where festival-goers can sneak away from the music for specialty cocktails and single-barrel pours.
Tickets are still available and can be bought here.

BIGFOOT IN THE BLUEGRASS
The first-ever Bigfoot festival is happening on Saturday!
The Red River Gorge will host the celebration of the wilderness icon, featuring best costumes, best tattoo and a calling contest.
The event is family-friendly and will be held at Stanton City Park. Admission is free and festivities will begin at 10 a.m.
Food trucks and arts & crafts will also be available.
You can find more information about the first festival on its website.
CLASSICS, CUSTOMS AND CRUISERS
If you’re a car enthusiast with a wide-open weekend, you can attend the third-annual Classics, Customs and Cruisers car show at the Kentucky Horse Park.
Starting for free at 10 a.m., you can see classic cars, custom builds and cruisers at the show, which supports the Kentucky Trooper Outreach Program.
If you have a classic, custom or cruiser and want to participate in the car show, you can register on the day of the event. If you want to support the show but don’t want to enter a car, t-shirts will also be available for sale.
