Rochester, N.Y. — The Stroll for Strong Kids returns to Genesee Valley Park in Rochester on Saturday morning, bringing together families and supporters for a cause that touches many lives.
The annual fundraiser supports vital programs at Golisano Children’s Hospital (GCH), benefiting the hospital’s young patients and their families.
More than 180 teams are expected to participate, marching through the park in honor of children who have been or are currently being treated at GCH.
The event also serves as a tribute to the dedicated caregivers at the hospital who work tirelessly to save lives.
Participants will don unique shirt designs as they engage in various activities, including games for children, a 5k race, and a dunk tank featuring GCH doctors and nurses.
The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
