Pickerington Local Schools is offering free lunches to students under 18 during June in a program with no registration required.

From June 2 through June 30, families can visit Tussing Elementary School (7117 Tussing Road) Mondays through Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for a free lunch.

“Meals are served in a safe and secure environment, ensuring a welcoming space for kids to enjoy,” the district said in a release.

Food Service Supervisor Suzie Gerhardt said the district encourages families to take advantage of the opportunity.

“This program is about ensuring kids have access to nutritious meals even when school isn’t in session,” Gerhardt said.

Parents or guardians seeking more information can call 614-833-3645 during office hours Monday through Friday or visit the Pickerington Schools website.
