
KSBW 8, in partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank Santa Cruz County, Food Bank for Monterey County and the Community Food Bank of San Benito, has raised $454,599 via KSBW 8’s Feeding Families telethon. The event was launched in response to the growing hunger crisis and food insecurity affecting individuals across the Central Coast. The fundraiser equates to 1,363,797 meals being served.“Many people are struggling to put food on the table across the Central Coast and all of us at KSBW 8 feel called to action,” said KSBW 8 President and General Manager Laura Williamson. “Families, children, seniors, veterans and those working tirelessly to make ends meet—everyone needs help.
