Just after 9:35 p.m. Indianapolis police announced both children were located and safe.
Indianapolis police are searching for two young kids who went missing May 29, 2025.
The kids were last seen in the 10000 block of Governours Lane at Spanish Oaks Apartments on the east side of Indianapolis.
Wendy, 2, was reported missing first by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department shortly after 8:15 p.m.
About an hour later, police said they believe Wendy is with another missing child, 6-year-old Joseph Metilus.
Wendy is described as a light-skinned black female. She was last seen about 7:45 p.m. near a playground, wearing a pink shirt with black pants. Her hairstyle is described as having three ponytails.
Joseph is described as a black male, 4 feet tall and weighing about 90 pounds. He was last seen wearing an orange t-shirt and black basketball shorts with a red stripe.
Police said they have drones and foot searches ongoing.
