Summer fun is heating up in the Spindle City as over a dozen food trucks roll into the Gates of the City on May 29.
Follow the arches to Ponta Delgada Boulevard, as the annual Food Trucks at the Gates series returns to serve up a delectable assortment of sweet and savory delights.
Bring your appetite your loved ones for a night of local eats, local beats and festivities by the Fall River waterfront. Here’s what to know before you go:
When and where will Fall River’s Food Trucks at the Gates be held?
Fall River Food Trucks at the Gates will take place Thursdays, May 29, July 31, Aug. 14, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the Gates of the City on Ponta Delgada Boulevard.
What to expect at Food Trucks at the Gates
Produced by PVD Food Truck Events, in partnership with the City of Fall River, the Food Trucks at the Gates series will feature a dozen or more food trucks at each event from a rotation of over 65 food trucks.
The roster for May 29 includes BBQ y Mas, Bem Bom Portuguese/American Culinary Fusion, BerrySweet, Chicked Out Nuggz, Friskie Fries, GG’s Pretzels, Blount Clam Shack, Braised, Jerry’s food concessions, Mac N Cheese Please mobile, Pit Stop Street Food, Turner Bros., Uhlman’s Ice Cream, and What’s Up Cupcake.
Pair your food with local beer and wine from Party with Primo and Troy City Brewing, as you enjoy live bands.
“With the majestic Braga Bridge illuminating the night and the gentle flow of the Taunton River nearby, indulge in a feast for all senses,” the Facebook event page states.

Do I need tickets to get into the food truck festival?
No, Food Trucks at the Gates is free to attend. Guests just pay for what they eat and drink. All food trucks accept cash, credit, and debit cards.
Guests are not permitted to bring their own coolers with alcohol. Pets are not encouraged.
