MOSINEE, Wis. (WSAW) – The United Way of Marathon County’s Mobile Community Closet and the Hunger Coalition’s Mobile Food Pantry will be teaming up with the Mosinee Community Center of Hope on Thursday, May 29, from noon to 2 p.m.
Anyone can receive free clothing and fresh organic produce from the mobile truck and closet. You do not need to live in Mosinee.
Registration is not required for these services. Guests can shop for clothes and shoes for themselves and/or their families. There is no income restriction.
The United Way says people often make too much to receive assistance, but with the cost of basic needs rising and paychecks staying the same, they must choose between paying a bill, clothing and putting fuel in their vehicles.
The Community Closet and Hunger Coalition work to help lift people to financial stability by providing services that can help them offset expenses.
