BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank is making sure kids and teens in rural areas have access to nutritious summer meals by serving free meals throughout its 11-parish service area this summer.
According to the food bank, all kids and teens 18 and under can receive meal boxes for free at 13 sites. Each week, every child will receive a box containing 7 days’ worth of shelf-stable breakfasts and lunches that require no preparation. Each child can only get one box from one location each week.
