Parents in the Cincinnati area will be able to take their children swimming for free at a city pool in Mount Auburn this summer.The Cincinnati Recreation Commission is offering free swimming at Filson Pool on Ringgold Street.The free admission applies to anyone 17 and younger. Children eight and under must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or person over 18.Children aged nine to 11 are recommended to have a parent or guardian with them but they are permitted to swim unaccompanied during open swim hours with a permission slip and release of liability form signed by a parent or guardian.Filson Pool has open swim from noon until 5 p.m. from Monday through Thursday and from noon until 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.For more information on Cincinnati pools and their hours, click here.
