Hundreds of people attend 8th annual car show along Rockford’s Miracle Mile

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – More than 200 cars and roughly a thousand spectators made up Saturday’s 8th Miracle Mile Car Show.

There were 75 custom made trophies up for grabs. 60 of them where categories attendees could vote on while the other 15 were for others like ‘Best in Show’, ‘Best Diamond in the Rough’, ‘Vietnam Veterans’ Choice’ and ‘Best Muffler Rap’.

“We have a lawnmower that is probably seven feet tall and built up it’s grown since last year,” said Miracle Mile Executive Director Amy Hoening, “We have the general lee and the police car from the Dukes of Hazard as well. We have a Scooby-Doo vehicle here so lots of custom unique cars.”

Proceeds from this event support Miracle Mile Rockford to connect businesses together and give them the resources they need to thrive.
