Rev Up Your Engines: Downtown Arlington to Host Vintage Car Show on June 7

Classic car enthusiasts, mark your calendars for June 7, because Downtown Arlington is where you’ll want to be, showcasing over 150 vintage beauties from the roaring ’20s to the groovy ’70s. In an announcement by Downtown Arlington Communications, the car show is expected to be a full-day event from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Vandergriff Town Center, located at 200 N. Mesquite Street.

For those showing off their prized automobiles, the gates open at 7:30 a.m., but after 9:00 a.m., no entries will be allowed into the judging area, so punctuality is key if you aim for your car to be in the running for prizes. Alongside the classic cars, attendees can enjoy live music, and various food vendors will be on-site to cater to all tastes. The event promises a family-friendly atmosphere, and what’s more, admission is completely free, according to the City of Arlington news release.
