BROOKE COUNTY, W.Va. — Two local car enthusiasts are revving up support for a cause as they prepare to host a car show aimed at raising awareness for autism.
The event, organized by Noah Heck and Kaiden Shaffer, will feature show cars from Pittsburgh and beyond. Attendees can also enjoy a DJ, a food truck, and a donation station led by Special Connections.
“People should come out just to help support the cause, look at the cars, have fun,” Heck and Shaffer said. “There’s a park there for the kids, there’s food, and there’s gonna be music. There’s not many events around here, so we’re trying to make something big out here for the community.”
The car show is scheduled for Sunday, June 8, from noon to 6 p.m. at Brooke Hills Park in Wellsburg.
