Seth Henigan named 2025 Amateur Male Athlete of the Year by Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame

In his last two seasons, Henigan became the winningest quarterback in Tigers Football history.

MEMPHIS, Tenn — University of Memphis’ all-time leading passer and winningest quarterback in program history, Seth Henigan, was named Male Amateur Athlete of the Year by the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame, the organization announced on May 12, 2025.

In his final two seasons with the team, Henigan led the team through back-to-back seasons with over ten wins. 

He also helped the team score wins at the 2023 AutoZone Liberty Bowl and the 2024 Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl.

Henigan ended his NCAA career with 14,266 yards and tied for the most touchdown passes in American Athletic Conference history at 104. 

His name is atop the all-time Memphis record book in nearly every passing statistic.

In his final season in Memphis, Henigan threw for 3,502 yards, recorded 25 touchdowns and was named Third Team All-AAC.

In April 2025, Henigan signed an NFL contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars following the 2025 NFL Draft.
