Lauren Sánchez marked Mother’s Day by sharing a rare family photo. The author and philanthropist decided to give a glimpse of her family life, including her three children. The media personality, who prefers to keep her personal life private, is a proud mom of 24-year-old Nikko, 18-year-old Evan, and 17-year-old Ella.
Lauren took to social media on Sunday, May 11, to share a special moment surrounded by the people she loves most. “Thank you for picking me as your mama,” Lauren captioned the sweet photo. “My whole world in one frame.”
Lauren shares her eldest, Nikko, with retired NFL star Tony Gonzalez. Her younger children, Evan and Ella, are from her previous marriage to businessman Patrick Whitesell.
The author has previously shared moments of her life with her kids on social media, proving she is a proud mom. Lauren has been photographed spending quality time with them amid her busy schedule, as she continues to plan her upcoming wedding with billionaire Jeff Bezos.
Lauren’s passion for aviation has long been a family affair. In a 2017 interview, she revealed that all three of her kids have taken flying lessons, following in the footsteps of their mom, who became a licensed pilot at 40.
Most recently, she celebrated her son Evan’s first solo flight with an emotional tribute about trust, independence, and pride. “There’s a special kind of trust that comes when you watch your kid take off on their own,” she wrote at the time. “It’s terrifying, exhilarating, and so deeply rewarding all at once.”
Her love of flying even inspired her to write a children’s book, ‘The Fly Who Flew to Space.’ The idea, she said to People, came from a New Year’s Eve conversation with her son Evan when he was a child. “’Mom, why don’t you write that book you’re always talking about?’” he had asked, and she decided to do it.
