TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – The Harvesters’ next food distribution for people in need of food assistance is Tuesday, May 13.
There is a Harvesters mobile food distribution for people in need of food assistance on the second Tuesday of each month.
The event is located at the east parking lot at the Stormont Vail Events Center, located at One Expocentre Drive, Topeka, just south of 17th and Topeka Blvd.
No ID or proof of eligibility is required, and there is no charge. Last name, zip code, and the number of people in the family are the only information collected.
The event is sponsored by Topeka Turnaround, Inc., in cooperation with Topeka Bible Church.
Distribution of food will begin by 9 or 9:30 a.m., as people should arrive as early as possible to get in line.
The event ends when all the food is distributed, generally around 11-11:30 a.m.
