Fire officials are investigating the cause of the fire. At this time it “appears to be accidental,” Bend Fire & Rescue said.
TUMALO, Ore. — A fire early Monday morning destroyed a food truck in Tumalo, an unincorporated community in Deschutes County, just north of Bend.
Bend Fire & Rescue and the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office responded around 1 a.m. to the food truck on 7th Avenue. When they arrived, crews saw flames coming through the roof of the food truck, Bend Fire & Rescue said. Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames.
Fire officials are investigating the origin and the cause of the fire.
“At this time the cause of the fire appears to be accidental in nature, but still under investigation,” Bend Fire & Rescue said in a news release.
No one was inside the food truck at the time of the fire, and no injures were reported.
