Comanche County Health Department to host food handler class in Spanish

LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – The Comanche County Health Department is continuing its offering of food handler classes throughout 2025, with the second class for Spanish speakers taking place on Monday, May 12.

Those who attend the one-hour class will not only receive vital knowledge in food handling, but will also receive a valid certificate that can be presented to the City of Lawton for a Food Handler’s Permit.

Monday’s course will take place from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and will be presented in Spanish.

The department hosts the classes throughout the year, with the next course in English set for Thursday, May 15 at 4 p.m. The next Spanish class after Monday’s will take place on August 11 at 9:30 a.m.
