FAYETTEVILLE 4, BLUE VALLEY, KAN. 3
Fayetteville did all of its scoring in the fourth inning, then held off Blue Valley to take the win at Bulldog Field.
The Bulldogs erased an early 1-0 deficit with Charlie Graves’ two-run single, and Carter Morris drove in another run with a fielder’s choice. Jude Rana then singled to drive in Fayetteville’s final run.
Jaison DeLamar had two of the Bulldogs’ five hits. Jonathan Laverentz, the second of four Fayetteville pitchers, earned the win with 2 1/3 innings of relief work.
LIFE WAY CHRISTIAN 8, HACKETT 1
Dylan Brown and Micah Quinn each hit a home run as Life Way Christian won the Class 2A Region 1 Tournament championship with a victory over Hackett at Harrison.
Hackett scored its lone run in the first inning when Evan Griffin walked and came home while Trenton White was caught in a rundown between first and second. Life Way quickly erased it when Gracen Gaydusek’s double drove in Dam Seim, who walked, then Jackson Rodgers’ sacrifice fly scored Gaydusek for a 2-1 Warrior lead.
Life Way then clinched the victory thanks to a six-run fifth, highlighted by Quinn’s three-run home run and Brown’s two-run blast.
Jackson Williams picked up the win as he threw a three-hitter over 6 1/3 innings and struck out nine, while Seim finished the game.
Life Way now advances to the Class 2A State Tournament at Palestine-Wheatley and will play Corning at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
SPRINGDALE HAR-BER 13, LIBERTY (MO.) NORTH 4
Har-Ber pounced on Liberty North with five runs in the first inning, and the Wildcats closed out their regular season with a win at home.
Four different Har-Ber batters drove in a run with a hit, including Reese Cavitt’s two-run single to end the inning. The Wildcats went on to score at least a run in each of the first five innings against three different pitchers.
Luke Cornelison had three hits and missed the cycle by a home run to lead Har-Ber. Luke Altom also had three hits for Har-Ber, while Aiden Evans also drove in two runs.

GIRLS
BENTONVILLE WEST 6, FORT SMITH SOUTHSIDE 1
Six different Lady Wolverines scored goals as Bentonville West (12-5-4, 10-2-4) secured the third seed from the 6A-West Conference.
Mikayla Sullivan had a goal and assist for the Lady Wolverines.
Preaslee Srader, Madison Coleman, Caitlin Paul, Mia Luna and Rihanna Andrade also had goals for West.
Peyton Nordby tallied two assists, while Irelin Estes, Gracelin Kleingartner and Riley Breslow also had assists.
Maddie Sanger scored for the Lady Mavericks.
ROGERS HERITAGE 2, ROGERS 1
The Lady War Eagles converted a penalty kick with 5 minutes remaining to knock off the Lady Mountaineers in 6A-West action at David Gates Stadium in Rogers.
With the match tied 1-1, a Rogers defender blocked a ball with her hand in the box, awarding a penalty kick to Heritage (11-6-1, 9-6-1). Josie Wakefield converted the PK for a 2-1 lead.
Wakefield scored with 7 minutes remaining in the first half when she connected with Vanessa Maldonado’s corner kick to give the Lady War Eagles a 1-0 lead.
Rogers (10-5-3, 10-4-2) answered right before half on a goal by Nelsy Martinez off a Deja Martinez assist. With the loss, the Lady Mounties dropped to the No. 4 seed in the 6A-West. Heritage will be fifth seed.
SPRINGDALE 3, FORT SMITH NORTHSIDE 1
Jade de la Cruz, Camila Avila and Jackie Ayala all scored goals for Springdale in a season-ending victory at Fort Smith Northside.
Tonie Chavez scored a goal for the Lady Bears.
BOYS
FORT SMITH SOUTHSIDE 3, BENTONVILLE WEST 3
The Mavericks rallied from a 2-0 hole to take a 3-2 lead. Bentonville West scored late on a PK to tie the match.
However, West needed a victory to qualify for the Class 6A state tournament.
Javi Perez, Jude Daniels and Vann Childers all scored for Southside.
ROGERS HERITAGE 1, ROGERS 1
The War Eagles locked up the third seed in the 6A-West Conference with the draw against the Mountaineers at David Gates Stadium in Rogers.
Heritage took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Francesco Turbati Zaniboni, assisted by Richie Tapia.
The Mounties came up with an equalizer with 4 minutes remaining in the match on a goal by Jerry Sandoval.
Heritage (7-3-8, 5-3-8) finished with 23 points, while Rogers (6-7-4, 6-6-4) is fourth at 22 points.
SILOAM SPRINGS 7, ALMA 1
Hector Maldonado scored a hat trick and the Panthers picked up a 5A-West Conference win at Airedale Stadium in Alma.
Ramon Loyo added two goals for Siloam Springs, while Carlos Sandoval had a goal and assist and Josh Neale added a goal.
Bennett Naustvik and Diego Palacios each had a pair of assists.
Obelio Menendez and Chris Cruz also had assists.
SPRINGDALE 2, FORT SMITH NORTHSIDE 1
Geo Castro and Aaron Rodriguez scored goals for the Bulldogs in a 6A-West Conference win at Mayo-Thompson Stadium.
Jeovany Ceja and Joel Carranza each had assists for the Bulldogs (9-0-8, 8-0-8), who will be the No. 2 seed in the Class 6A state tournament.
Kevin Barroso scored for the Grizzlies.
