HAVELOCK, N.C. — A new festival made its debut in Havelock Saturday, thanks to a collaborative effort between the city and the Havelock Chamber of Commerce. The event, known as the Havelock Spring Festival, featured at least 30 local food trucks and 50 vendors, along with a variety of fun activities for children.
Anne Saccoccio, the marketing specialist for the Chamber of Commerce, expressed hope that the festival would attract more visitors to the city.
“Havelock’s an enormously cool place, and people just don’t come here often enough. And we’re trying to get everybody to come out and see how wonderful Havelock is,” said Saccoccio.
She added that information about another event planned for November will be released soon.
