Mother’s Day 2025 deals and specials for fast food, brunch and dining

Forget economic uncertainty, we are going to celebrate mom on Mother’s Day, which is Sunday, May 11.

Whether you’re shopping for mom or planning to take her out for brunch, you likely are expecting to pay more, finds a pair of recent consumer surveys. More than eight in 10 U.S. adults (84%) plan to celebrate Mother’s Day, spending $259.04, on average, for gifts and activities – about $5 more than a year ago – according to the National Retail Federation’s survey of 7,948 consumers conducted March 31-April 7 by Prosper Insights & Analytics.

But some consumers say higher prices, due to inflation and the effect of tariffs, means they will spend less than in the past. A LendingTree survey found consumers plan to spend, on average, $148, down 14% from 2023 spending ($172).

More than half (56%) said inflation and the current economy would impact how much they spend, and 38% said tariffs mean they will spend less, according to the online survey of 2,000 U.S. consumers, conducted April 2-3 for LendingTree by QuestionPro.

Luckily, if you want to take mom out for a meal – or you still need to get a present – many restaurants and retailers are offering deals and specials for Mother’s Day. Remember to check your local favorites for specials, too.

• Arby’s: Mother’s Day weekend deals include buy one sandwich, get one free on May 10. Then on May 11, get a four-piece order of mozzarella sticks for $1.99 with any purchase.
• Auntie Anne’s: Get $10 in Auntie Anne’s Rewards when you spend $30 or more on gift cards or eGift cards through May 11; or spend $25 on gift cards through June 15 and get $5 in rewards.
• Bad Daddy’s: On Mother’s Day, moms get a dessert surprise when they dine in. There’s also margaritas, made with Margaritaville Gold Tequila, for $8.
• Baskin-Robbins: The ice cream shop chain has two special Mother’s Day cakes – The Perfect Peony Cake and the Strawberries ‘n Cream Cake. Members of the Baskin-Robbins Rewards loyalty program can get $5 off the price of a cake costing $35 or more during the month of May.
• Beef ‘O’ Brady’s: Moms eat free on Mother’s Day when they dine in at participating locations (go for up to $14).
• Biggby Coffee: On May 11, buy one drink, get one free or get $1 off any drink, any size.
• Buffalo Wild Wings: Moms who are also nurses, teachers or school staff get 20% off their order May 11 with valid ID.
• Burger King: Members of the Royal Perks loyalty program get a free Whopper with the purchase of a King Jr. Meal on May 11.

• BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse: When you buy a $50 gift card, you get a $10 bonus card. Offer is good through June 15 and the bonus card is redeemable June 16-July 7.
• California Pizza Kitchen: May 10-11 you can get heart-shaped pizza and $8 sangrias.
• Capital Grille: The restaurant chain has a Mother’s Day brunch ($55 for adults, $17 for kids) including a two-course prix fixe menu, plus brunch cocktails and champagne. Mom can also order from the dinner menu all day.
• Carvel: Spend $25 on gift cards through June 27 and get $5 in rewards. Also, when you purchase any cake, you can get a 4-pack of heart pops for $9.99.
• Checkers & Rally’s: The fast food chain has a $4 special on May 11 for Mother’s Day – you get a combo with the choice of a Cheese Double or Spicy Chicken Sandwich, a side of seasoned fries, a 12-ounce drink and a Cinnamon Apple Pie.
• The Cheesecake Factory: Get a $10 bonus eCard with every $50 in gift cards you purchase through May 11.
• Chicken Salad Chick: The restaurant chain is closed on Sundays, so you can get a head start celebrating mom on May 9 with a buy-one-get-one-free deal on Large Quick Chicks packs of chicken salad. (Deal is good one day only; limit three per customer while supplies last.) Need dessert? New to the menu is Red Velvet Cake.

• Cinnabon: Get $10 in Cinnabon Rewards when you spend $30 or more on gift Cards or eGift Cards through May 11; or spend $25 on gift cards through June 15 and get $5 in rewards.
• City BBQ: Through May 11, you can get City BBQ’s Gather Round Meal ($50) with your choice of app or salad, one pound of meat, two sides, two desserts, and buns. Members of the City Rewards loyalty program also get a free dessert for mom all weekend.
• The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf: Coffee Bean Rewards members can buy one beverage, get one free on May 11.
• Cracker Barrel: From May 10-11, Cracker Barrel Rewards members will get $15 off their purchase of $50 or more for dine-in meals or retail purchases (offer valid in-store only; excludes gift cards, alcohol, and to-go orders).
• Denny’s: Get $10 off online orders of $30 or more for home delivery through May 11. You can also get 10% off Denny’s limited-edition Slammin’ breakfast pajamas on DinerDrip.com.
• Dog Haus: When you order in advance for curbside pickup or delivery in the Haus Rewards app on May 11 you get 4X loyalty points.
• Dunkin’: Members of the Dunkin’ Rewards loyalty program can get a 10-count Munchkins order for $2 through May 15. Also get 3X points on bulk donut and Munchkin purchases May 10 and May 11.
• Dutch Bros Coffee: With any drink purchase on May 11 get this year’s exclusive Mother’s Day sticker.

• Eddie Merlot’s: The steakhouse chain has a special Mother’s Day brunch buffet on May 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. ($75 for adults; $19 for children), which includes a full breakfast station, filet mignon, shrimp cocktail or a grilled lamb rack. • Einstein Bros. Bagels: Order a limited-time Mother’s Day Specialty Brunch Box (ideal for up to eight people at $5.50 per person). Also get 20% off all gift card purchases.
• First Watch: Can’t meet up with mom on Mother’s Day? The week after (May 12-16) First Watch has a buy-one-get-one-free entrée deal for any mom who brings in a handmade Mother’s Day note from their child – maybe an “I Love You” message or promise to do some chores.
• Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar: The restaurant chain has several Mother’s Day three-course meal options (starting at $55 per person) including brunch on May 10 and May 11, until 3 p.m. A reservation is required.
• Fresh Kitchen: On Mother’s Day, the Florida-based restaurant chain has $5 Harvest Bars – made with pecans, walnuts, sunflower seeds, and dates – to give mom an energy boost.
