DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) -The Arc of the Quad Cities Area is hosting a bi-state food drive in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. to collect donations to help feed the hungry. The effort will run May 7 to 20.
Non-perishable food items are needed like canned meat and high-protein items, canned fruits and vegetables, carbohydrates and allergy-friendly products.
To participate in the MLK food drive, drop off food donations in designated boxes at the entrances and exits at any of the participating locations like your local Hy-Vee stores and libraries.
