Letter carriers to feed America’s hungry with ‘Stamp Out Hunger’ food drive

(WLUK) — You can help those facing food insecurity.

Saturday, May 10, letter carriers nationwide will collect donations for the annual ‘Stamp Out Hunger’ food drive.

In the past 30 years, more than 1.82 billion pounds of food has been collected.

Non-perishable donations can be left by mailboxes or at post offices.

Carriers will collect those items and deliver them to local food banks, pantries and shelters.

Jeremy Beck, the local Food Drive Coordinator joined Good Day Wisconsin Thursday to share more about how you can make an impact.
