
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – The NCAA announced its championship qualifiers for men’s and women’s tennis and women’s golf on Monday. Three Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) teams earned national championship selections.
Men’s Tennis
MIAC men’s champion Gustavus will travel to UW-Whitewater for a six-team regional this Saturday. Gustavus (19-11) has a bye in the first round and will face either the host Warhawks (16-5) or Luther (21-5) in round two. The top half of the regional bracket includes Chicago (21-3), Grinnell (13-12), and Kalamazoo (15-5). Chicago also has a bye to round two and will face the winner of the Grinnell versus Kalamazoo match on Saturday. The regional championship is slated for Sunday. Match times are yet to be determined.

The Gusties and host Chicago received byes to round two. The Maroons will await either Coe (18-7) or North Central (14-9) in the second round. The regional championship is slated for Saturday. Match times are yet to be determined.

Women’s Golf
St. Catherine University will represent the MIAC as its automatic qualifier to the 2025 NCAA Division III Women’s Golf Championships, May 13-16 at Kingsmill Resort & Spa in Williamsburg, Virginia. Twenty-five conferences were awarded automatic qualification, and the remaining nine teams were selected on an at-large basis from conferences and the independent institutions. Six individuals, not from selected teams, were also selected for the championships. Christopher Newport University will serve as host for the 2025 Championships.
