SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) – Saturday was the first battle of the food trucks in downtown Sherman!
The Sherman Showdown was one to remember for its sights, sounds, and tastes. Grayson county’s first-ever food truck competition was packed with 20 food trucks battling it out to win the $5,000 grand prize.
This year’s winner was the locally owned food truck, “The Good Stuff.” Judges say the owner’s fish curry-bite was “amazing” and they hope to see this event on the calendar next year. The competition also had two stages for live bands, and pop-up vendors of multiple varieties.
