PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — Tonight was the Glimmer of Hope’s big Gala.
Members of our NBC10 team, including Temi-Tope Adeleye, Mario Hilario and Kennedy Buck were there providing support.
Guests walked the runway with children who have had or are currently battling cancer as a way of honoring them for their strength and resiliency.
Money raised from the event will provide those battling cancer with a donation of a bald American Girl doll, a photoshoot opportunity or a bereavement box.
The event was set against the backdrop of an elegant pink garden party at the Convention Center in Providence.
