Scenic Community Credit Union partners with Chatt. Food Bank for donations

With recent funding cuts impacting the Greater Chattanooga Area Food Bank, the Scenic Community Credit Union is stepping in to help out. 

The food bank supports 20 counties and needs their shelves fully stocked at all times to take care of those in need. 

The credit union is setting up food donation boxes at all of their locations and creating an online donation link for monetary donations. 

“One dollar helps three people in need. I believe there’s around 200,000 people in the area who may go hungry this year,” says Kensley Mace with the Scenic Community Credit Union. “So this is a really important cause to us and to our community.”
