KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Hundreds of kids gathered in Kalamazoo on Saturday for the PNC Kids’ 1k.
Held just a day before the Zeigler Kalamazoo Marathon, the PNC Kids’ 1k is intended for kids 12 and under.
“I feel great. I feel good about myself because I think I did a nice job,” said Leah Deming, a participant.
Each participant received a free t-shirt and a finisher medal upon completion of the race.
The Zeigler Kalamazoo Marathon takes place Sunday, and features a full marathon, a half marathon, a marathon relay, half marathon relay, a marathon 10k run, a 5k run/walk, and Spring Stride Fest.
