SOUTH BEND, IN (WSBT) — One person was taken to the hospital after a vehicle swerved onto the path of a school bus in South Bend.
The crash happened on Bendix Drive just after 9:30 on Friday morning.
Officials say no children were on the bus during the crash and the driver of the bus was not hurt.
According to a school official the driver of the vehicle swerved from the middle lane into the bus’s path. The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital for precautionary measures.
It is unknow what caused the vehicle to swerve but officials say the driver did not seem to remember being in the middle lane.
