Arcola 15, Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond 5. Braden Phillips and Brody Phillips each had three hits to ignite the Purple Riders (16-0) in a Lincoln Prairie Conference win against the host Knights (11-10), with D.J. Stevens and Brody Drake each tallying two hits to help the winning cause. Maxton Boddy had two hits to pace ALAH’s offense.
Monticello 9, Bloomington Central Catholic 3. Eric Arnold, Colton Vance and Grant Kiger each had hits for the Sages (20-3) in an Illini Prairie Conference home win, with Kiger striking out four batters in five innings on the mound to earn the win.
Rantoul 4, Tri-Valley 2. Three hits from Owen Johnson, two hits from Eli Reichenbach and a double from Yovanny Solorzano helped the Eagles (10-8) take down the host Vikings in nonconference play, with Levi Duitsman adding three strikeouts in six innings of work on the mound.
St. Anthony 12, Unity 3. Emmerson Bailey drove in a run and Tre Hoggard collected a hit for the Rockets (11-8), who sustained a nonconference loss to the Bulldogs on their home field in Effingham.
Villa Grove 9, Heritage 1. Jackson Gire and Jesse Gire each had two hits for the Blue Devils (6-11), who received a home run from Noah Wilcoxon en route to a LPC win against the host Hawks. Anthony Happ had a double among four hits for the Hawks (5-13).

Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin 13, North Vermillion (Ind.) 3. Draycee Nelson drove in four runs, Ava Acton, Gentry Elson and Madison Stevenson had two hits apiece and Eva Ronto struck out seven batters to key an interstate win for the host Blue Devils (11-12).
Normal Community 9, Danville 1. Ava Foster and Olivia Skaggs combine for three hits as the host Vikings (9-9) suffered a loss to the Ironmen in Big 12 Conference play.
Monticello 7, Bloomington Central Catholic 2. Three hits from Cassidee Stoffel and two hits apiece from Sadie Walsh and Isabella Beery sparked the Sages (18-5) to an Illini Prairie Conference win against the visiting Saints. Stoffel factored into the win in the circle by striking out six batters.
St. Joseph-Ogden 19, Centennial 0. Chayse Palmer collected a double and a triple en route to a three-hit, six-RBI performance that helped the host Spartans (19-7) to a nonconference win, with Emma McKinney adding three hits and Timera Blackburn-Kelley scoring three times. Annie Loschen had two hits for the Chargers (4-8), who were held to three hits by Spartans starter Amelia Huckstadt.
Villa Grove 15, Cumberland 5. Three hits from Madison Hinds, two hits from Izzy Dodd and a home run from Olivia Jones boosted the Blue Devils (11-5) past the visiting Pirates in Lincoln Prairie Conference play, with six strikeouts from Piper Kiser factoring into the five-inning win.
In girls’ soccer
Centennial 10, Manual 0. Payton Kaiser tied an IHSA single-match record with seven assists in a dominant Big 12 Conference win against the visiting Rams, with six goals from Alicia Fernandez, two goals from Alaina Kimble and goals from Kaiser and Evelyn Hernandez rounding out the scoring for the Chargers (10-8-1).
Mahomet-Seymour 6, Danville 0. Ella Walk scored four goals to lead the Bulldogs (9-4-2) by the Vikings (10-10) in nonconference play, with Kennedy Davis adding a goal and an assist in the victory.
Monticello 5, Lincoln 1. A pair of goals from Megan Allen and additional goals from Elle Bodznick, Addison Finet and Maddy Saiger propelled the Sages (19-2) past the Railsplitters in nonconference play.
