PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – WTAP will be hosting their first WTAP Cares Food Drive for Kids of this year on Thursday, May 1.
This is the second year in a row that WTAP has held this food drive.
The goal of the food drive is to help stock the pantries of local schools that provide food packs to children in need after school and over the weekend.
Food insecurities are a major issue nationally, but it is also an issue right here in the Mid-Ohio Valley. WTAP is putting their best foot forward to help make sure that no child goes hungry.
