UPPER PENINSULA, Mich. (WLUC) – Feeding America West Michigan has two food distribution events scheduled for families experiencing food insecurity.
The first mobile food pantry is located at North Iron Church in Ishpeming, at 910 Palms Avenue. Food distribution begins at 9 a.m. Eastern time.
The second event is at the Norway Community Food Pantry in Norway at 130 O’Dill Drive. That event begins at 2 p.m. Central time. Families unable to attend the pantry events can have a stand-in or proxy get food for them. However, space is limited.
Stand-ins may be asked to provide the name, address, and household size for any family they’re picking up food for.
