Cops in Times Square apprehended three suspects following an early morning shooting Wednesday that left a food vendor injured.

Crime scene tape remained wrapped around multiple food carts at the corner of 47th Street and Broadway just before 10 a.m. on April 30 under the watchful guard of multiple police officers — the remains of a violent dispute.

Police sources said the violence had unfolded at around 5 a.m. Wednesday when the vendor got into a dispute with several youths. While cops did not report exactly what led to the confrontation, it escalated when one of the suspects brandished a firearm and fired a volley of shots, one of which struck the 29-year-old vendor in the arm.

EMS rushed him to Bellevue Hospital where he was treated for his wound and is expected to recover.

Meanwhile, police say they apprehended three men for questioning. Charges are pending result of the investigation. During an appearance on Fox 5, NYPD chief of Department John Chell said he believes at least one of the people cuffed is the shooter.

“We think we have him off the street, which is a good thing. We will work through this today,” Chell said.

NYPD detectives were still on scene during the morning rush hour as they continued to probe the incident.

This marks the second high-profile act of violence this month. On April 16 a 14-year-old boy was stabbed in the eye near the corner of West 43rd Street and 8th Avenue and required surgery. He ultimately survived.
