The three cable news networks were once again affected by a busy sports night, which included the NFL Draft, NBA and NHL playoffs, as well as MLB baseball. Looking at the 9 p.m. hour, a Sean Hannity-less Hannity was surpassed by The Rachel Maddow Show in total viewers. But Hannity eked a demo victory by 2,000 Adults 25-54 viewers. The Source with Kaitlan Collins on CNN was a distant third in both categories.
