Athlete of the week achievement: Long set the meet record at the Lock Haven High School Classic in the triple jump with a distance of 38 feet, 5.5 inches. She also claimed second place in the long jump with a leap of 17 feet, 4.75 inches and her 400-meter relay team was third in 50.57.

Season update: Long leads the triple jump in the Altoona Mirror Honor Roll and is second in the long jump.
