Rag & Bone is bringing its viral denim printing technique to children’s wear.
The Guess Inc.-owned brand launched Mini Miramar, a unisex collection of jeans based on styles that have been popular for adults.
Made from breathable cotton terry fabric that is ultra-soft on the inside, Miramar is distinguishable by hyper realistic denim prints designed to capture every detail of classic jeans, from distressing and fading to tiny stitches and rivet. Rag & Bone has been working on the proprietary printing technique since 2013.
“We have partnered with various sourcing partners to continue to innovate into the technique, making it increasingly more accurate,” said Jennie McCormick, Rag & Bone’s chief design and merchandising officer.
Mini versions include a jogger and a pull-on wide leg jean available in light to medium vintage-inspired washes. Some styles, like the Lynn jogger, feature printed distressing.
Sizes range from 12 months to 9/10 years. The collection retails for $78-$88.

The Miramar category has grown to be a significant business for Rag & Bone, according to McCormick. “I think it reveals that customers are still looking for an element of comfort, but also ingenuity in the products that they buy. Miramar encompasses both,” she said.
While brands like Old Navy and Gap are riding the wave of sweatpant jeans, and trompe l’oeil denim has become a signature at Diesel under Glenn Martens’ creative direction, Rag & Bone’s Miramar collection entered the market at a crucial turning point for the denim industry.
As a stylish evolution of traditional loungewear, Miramar’s popularity rose during the pandemic, delivering the comfort consumers craved and a fresh alternative to the skinny jeans many were ready to leave behind. The Miramar jeans quickly gained viral traction on social media and consistently sold out, cementing their status as a breakout hit.
The women’s and men’s Miramar lines now spans dresses, jackets, shorts, tops and a variety of jean fits with classic and novelty washes.
