GREEN BAY, Wis. — Lambeau Field already looked a bit different from the past three days when it hosted the 2025 NFL Draft.
On Sunday, clean-up crews could be seen working to tear down all the structures along the historic grounds.
The hustle and bustle around the NFL Draft stage had a much different feel. The sounds of “Go Pack Go” were replaced by the hurried sounds of work being done to disassemble everything.
Some fans tried to get close to the action now that the hundreds of thousands of football fans are away from the draft footprint.
“From 600,000 people to hardly seeing anyone walk on the street,” said Appleton resident Lester Thiel.

Those walking around said they were pleasantly surprised with what they have seen.
“It’s pretty quiet and pretty clean for everything that Lambeau, the draft attracted,” said Sandy Stumpf from nearby Darboy. “It’s pretty clean around here.”
Non-Packers fans were a bit bummed that the pro-shop and stadium atrium were closed but were still excited to see everything from afar.

“I thought it was just cool to be able to be here and see all the things that were set up and everything,” said Michicot’s Kenley Christoffel. “Now that we can’t get in, it’s kind of sad, but it’s okay.”
Even though many onlookers were not able to get in or near all the action, it didn’t stop them from admiring the effort that went into making the draft possible in the NFL’s smallest city.

“All the work that went in to put this together and now that they’re taking it down today,” said Dawn Butzin from Appleton. “It really just gives you the true experience of like what went into Green Bay, putting this all together for everybody.”
Crews will be working round the clock to make sure the gem of the NFL, Lambeau Field, will be just as clean and polished as they found it.
