Families enjoy Healthy Kids Day at Marion YMCA with activities and city showcase

MARION, Iowa — Families gathered at the Marion YMCA & Community Rec Center on Saturday for Healthy Kids Day and the Marion City Showcase.

The event kicked off with a family fun run to Lowe Park and back, followed by free activities promoting healthy living, games, prizes, and a chance to explore city vehicles.

City staff and council members were also on hand to connect with residents.
