WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE) – River Fest is wrapping up its final weekend with big crowds, local flavors and plenty of family fun.
On Saturday, families filled the streets, browsing local vendors, sampling food trucks and letting kids enjoy bounce houses, games, and even live duck races. One child said, “That big duck is even bigger than my house!”
Festivalgoers soaked in the atmosphere, with many shopping from small businesses and enjoying live music. “I do anticipate participating in some of the activities. I’ve already done some shopping with local vendors, and the music is amazing,” one attendee said.
Saturday’s festivities also featured performances by local bands and the return of the popular car show, where dozens of classic and custom vehicles lined the streets.
Performers were excited to connect with the crowd. “I’m excited to be here. These people have been supporting me since day one, so I’m excited to share some new music with them,” one musician said.
Sunday’s events will feature brunch, more live music, and a special closing concert.
Those who haven’t made it out yet still have time to enjoy River Fest before it wraps up Sunday evening.
