Pensacola Crawfish Festival draws crowds with food, music, and local vendors this weekend

PENSACOLA, Fla. –The Pensacola Crawfish Festival is underway.

Good food and good music have filled Seville Square and fountain park this weekend.

They have live music, family activities, and of course tons of crawfish fresh from Louisiana.

In addition to the food, dozens of local vendors are downtown for one of the spring’s biggest events.

Those vendors say they rely on events just like this one.

“Most of our customer base is based off of these events,” Crystal Wilson from Dennis Creek Farms said.

“Without these events we wouldn’t be able to have our internet sales and all because they wouldn’t be able to try the products,” she added. “They wouldn’t be able to put the hands on it and see what’s actually available for them.”

To make sure they have enough mud-bugs to get through the weekend. Organizers have another 6,000 pounds of crawfish coming in for Sunday.
