Driver with 0.21% BAC charged after leaving kids’ event with minors in car

The Glens Falls Police Department arrested a man earlier this week for driving while intoxicated with a child in the car.

On April 22, around 6:50 p.m., officers responded to Cortland Street for a single-vehicle car crash.

The car hit the curb and a fire hydrant. It was reported to officers that the vehicle involved left the scene, and the driver may have been intoxicated.

The driver of the car was found and identified as Kody Luckow. Officers found him leaving a kids’ sporting event when the incident happened.

Luckow is accused of driving while intoxicated with a BAC of 0.21% and had two kids under the age of 16 in the car.

Both children sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital by a private party for treatment.

Luckow was held pending arraignment in Warren County CAP Court and was later released pending further court proceedings.
