From moldy apple juice to undeclared milk on a non-dairy coffee creamer, it is crucial to stay informed to keep from getting sick.

Popular tea retailer recalls non-dairy creamer in 3 states due to this undeclared allergen

A popular tea brand has recalled 4,500 cases of non dairy creamer in three states due to undeclared milk, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Momo Tea Inc. is recalling 4,500 cases of its brand MO-CHA premium non-dairy creamer.

The affected product was in 2.2-pound bags with a shelf life of two years.

If you have a sensitivity to milk, you should not consume this product.

The FDA investigation into this Class I recall is still ongoing.

Public health alert issued for pork carnitas sold at Aldi: Is your product affected?

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Department of Food Safety and Inspection Service issued a public health alert for pork carnitas sold at Aldi due to potential metal fragments.

The 16-ounce “Pork Carnitas Seasoned & Seared Pork with Juices Slow-Cooked with Citrus” are part of the public health alert, according to USDA’s FSIS.

The products were produced between April 1-2 and may contain metal fragments.

No illnesses or injuries have been reported in connection to the product.

Enoki mushrooms recalled due to potential listeria contamination

A New York-based produce company, in conjunction with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, is recalling its Enoki mushrooms due to potential listeria contamination.

This is the third Enoki mushroom recall in the past seven months, with the previous recalls happening in October from the company Enoki King and in November from the company HH Fresh Trading Corp.

Martinelli’s recalls 170K bottles of apple juice in 28 states, classified as ‘Class II recall’

S. Martinelli & Co. has recalled more than 170,000 bottles of apple juice sold in 28 states due to the presence of patulin, a type of toxin produced by molds, according to the FDA.

The patulin is present in the glass bottles, and drinking the affected apple juice can cause nausea, vomiting and cellular damage.

While the FDA did not specify what to do with the adulterated product, the safest thing to do is to discard the product and not consume it.

Costco recalls salsa products sold in the northwest U.S.

Costco recalled one of its most popular salsa products due to the presence of foreign objects.

According to the recall announcement from San Juan Salsa Company, the recall also included salsa products sold at seven other stores other than Costco.

San Juan Salsa Company did not give specific instructions on what to do with the affected salsa, but to err on the side of caution, it is advised to discard the product and not use it.
