FIRST TEAM

Nick Allen, Bradley-Bourbonnais

6-11 Sr. C

The Illinois State-bound big man is a repeat First-Team selection and averaged 22.5 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks for the Boilermakers.

Devin Cleveland, Kenwood

6-3 So. G

The first (alphabetically) of the state’s standout sophomores, Cleveland put up 21 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals per game.

Tyreek Coleman, Waubonsie Valley

6-2 Sr. G

Illinois State is getting inside-out, in-state combo with Coleman joining Allen in Normal after posting 20.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.3 steals.

Jaxson Davis,  Warren Township

6-1 So. G

The D-I offers (including Illinois) started a year ago for Davis, who showed why with averages of 19.6 points, six assists, 4.3 rebounds and 2.9 steals for the Class 4A runners-up.

Phoenix Gill, St. Ignatius

6-3 Sr. G

Gill might not be following in his dad’s footsteps, but he’ll still be in the Big Ten at Northwestern after putting up 20.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.4 steals.

Cole Kelly, Neuqua Valley

6-6 Fr. F

The next young in-state star had few struggles in his debut season, averaging 18.5 points, 9.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists for the Wildcats this winter.

Christopher Kirkpatrick, New Trier

6-3 Jr. G

Kirkpatrick, who has multiple D-I offers, doubled as the Trevians’ top scorer and playmaker, putting up 22 points, six assists and six rebounds per game.

Ian Mileti, Rolling Meadows

6-7 Sr. F

Marquette-bound Miletic wrapped up his standout high school career averaging 20 points, seven rebounds and five assists for the 30-5 Mustangs.

JT Pettigrew, Bolingbrook

6-7 Sr. F

Will play for former Illini Roger Powell Jr. at Valparaiso after helping the Raiders win 29 games with averages of 16 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.4 blocks.

Dietrich Richardson, Peoria Manual

6-7 Sr. G

Richardson is staying home at Bradley after averaging 17.8 points, 8.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists in helping the Rams to a Class 2A fourth-place finish.

Leshawn Stowers, Peoria

6-5 Sr. G

Solid guard play was the standard in Peoria, with the Miami (Ohio)-bound Stowers putting up 18.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.7 assists for 29-win Lions.

Docker Tedeschi, Benton

6-9 Sr. C

Colorado State is getting a versatile big man in Tedeschi, who averaged 24.1 points, 9.1 rebounds, 3.5 blocks and three assists for the Rangers.

Davion Thompson, Bolingbrook

6-4 So. G

Thompson, who averaged 24.3 points and five rebounds, for the Raiders, announced Friday he will play next season at Link Academy in Missouri.

Kobe Walker, Normal

6-9 Sr. C

Walker, who put up 18.6 points, 12.2 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game for the Ironmen, will head to Valparaiso after flipping from Central Michigan.

Lincoln Williams, Kankakee

6-6 Jr. G

Multiple D-I coaches made the trip to Kankakee to watch dynamic Williams, who averaged 19 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.0 blocks.

SECOND TEAM

Aleks Alston, Kenwood

6-9 Sr. F

Alston is arguably top available senior in state after helping the Broncos go 31-2 with averages of 17 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two blocks.

Vince Buzelis, Hinsdale Central

6-4 Sr. G

Younger brother of Chicago Bulls rookie Matas Buzelis will play at South Dakota next season after averaging 18.8 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists.

Sam Donald, Columbia

6-8 Sr. F

Bellarmine is getting a stretch big man in Donald, who put up 16.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game and shot 37 percent from three.

Blake Fagbemi, Benet Academy

6-0 Sr. G

Fagbemi, who led Redwings to a Class 4A title averaging 12.7 points, 6.6 assists and 5.5 rebounds, is also available after coaching change at Truman State.

Jonah Funk, Metamora

6-10 Sr. C

South Dakota-bound Funk just as dominant in post for Metamora as he was at El Paso-Gridley and averaged 14.1 points, nine rebounds and 3.6 blocks.

Tyjuan Hunter, Chicago Hope Academy

5-6 Jr. G

Hunter was the driving force behind the Eagles’ run to their first Class 1A state title and put up 23.6 points, five assists and 4.2 rebounds per game for the 28-7 team.

Bradley Longcor III, Quincy

6-3 Sr. G

Blue Devils got to 31 wins this winter with Longcor leading the way, as the Santa Clara signee averaged 17.1 points, four assists and four rebounds.

Antonio Munoz, Whitney Young

6-6 Sr. G/F

Dynamic wing had multiple D-I offers and will continue career at Florida A&M after averaging 16.3 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.5 blocks for the Dolphins.

Nasir Rankin, Morgan Park

6-2 Jr. G

High-level D-I football recruit also showed basketball skill and landed Illinois hoops offer after putting up 23.2 points, 3.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds a game.

Ross Robertson, South Beloit

6-8 Sr. F

Will play for Northern Michigan next season after thoroughly dominating this past season, averaging 29.3 points, 13.7 rebounds and 3.4 assists.

Dalton Scantlebury, Lane Tech

6-10 Sr. C

New Penn coach Fran McCaffery will have Scantlebury to build around after the big man delivered 15.8 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.4 blocks and 2.4 steals.

Gabe Sularski, Lemont

6-6 Jr. G/F

Sularski’s first season at Lemont was another step forward for the D-I prospect after he averaged 17.6 points, five assists and five rebounds.

Trey Taylor, Moline

6-6 Sr. F

Emporia State-bound wing helped the Maroons win 25 games and averaged 18.4 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 3.1 assists.

Jayden Tyler, Homewood-Flossmoor

6-0 Sr. G

The next stop for Tyler is Wofford after leading the Vikings to a 30-win season and averaging 19 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Matthew Zobrist, Metamora

6-5 Sr. G

It will be a short trip from Metamora to Bradley for Zobrist, who averaged 19.2 points, four rebounds and 3.1 assists for the 28-win Redbirds.
