SAN ANTONIO – As the summer break gets closer, engage your young singer with a fun summer camp with the Children’s Chorus of San Antonio.
There are sections for elementary and middle schoolers to learn music theory, movement and more!
Dr. Carolyn Cruse gives details about the final performance of the season that features a concert from inside The Cave With No Name. Chorus musicians Emerson Kuhl, Oryan Armstrong, and Ahriana Robles tell us what they love about the Children’s Chorus and what it feels like to sing on the big stage.
The Children’s Chorus of San Antonio (CCSA) offers two summer camps: an elementary music camp for grades 2-6 and a middle school choir intensive for grades 6-8. Registration is open, with early bird discounts available until mid-June.
The chorus, led by Dr. Carolyn Cruz, has a diverse community and provides extensive musical training.
Upcoming events include a performance at Carnegie Hall in New York, featuring 130 youth singers, and a final concert on May 10 at the Tobin Center titled “Untraveled Worlds,” inspired by a piece using the Ulysses text by Alfred Lord Tennyson.
More information and registration can be found on the CCSA website…
