2025 NFL Draft: Day 3 time, draft order, best available players, including Shedeur Sanders, how to watch and everything else you need to know

The 2025 NFL Draft is heading into its third and final day. Cam Ward went first to the Tennessee Titans, as expected. Travis Hunter went second to the … Jacksonville Jaguars in Round 1’s biggest surprise. But the biggest storyline dominating the draft remains the same from when it began: When is Shedeur Sanders going to be taken?

Five quarterbacks were taken in the first three rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft, and Sanders wasn’t among them. There’s still plenty of time for him to go, but it’s been a disappointing slide for a prospect who was considered by many to be the second- or third-best quarterback in the class.

2025 NFL mock draft

Yahoo Sports’ draft experts Nate Tice and Charles McDonald released a number of mock drafts leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft. Monday’s first-round mock draft featured some expected picks, like Cam Ward to the Tennessee Titans.

It also featured more recent surprises, like the Jacksonville Jaguars taking Jeanty at No. 5 overall. As for Sanders, well, he actually fell out of the first round in Tice and McDonald’s latest mock draft — which is what ended up happening in the actual draft.

If you want to know who Tice and McDonald believe are the best players still available in the 2025 NFL Draft, check out Yahoo Sports’ big board.

Jaguars defensive end Arik Armstead, who was named the 2024 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year, announced the Jaguars’ first-round pick Thursday night.
