AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Golden Harvest Food Bank says volunteers are urgently needed to support ongoing hunger relief efforts at the Augusta campus, where daily morning and afternoon shifts are in full swing.
With each shift, roughly 30 volunteers are needed to help sort donated goods, pack family food boxes and prepare fresh produce and proteins for neighbors facing hunger. These hands-on efforts directly support families across 24 counties in Georgia and South Carolina.

To meet the growing need, we’ve added new volunteer shifts, now including Friday afternoons and a special weekend opportunity on May 10.
These are in addition to regular weekday morning and afternoon shifts.
